The Home tab in the Video section provides an overview of your camera system, including available cameras, video grids, floor plans, and maps. It serves as a central hub where you can quickly access and manage different viewing layouts and monitor activity across all connected cameras.
Predefined Grid Layout
The Predefined Grid Layout section, located at the bottom left of the page, remains visible across all tabs. This section allows you to quickly select how many grid windows you want to display in the main viewing area. For example, if you want to monitor three cameras at once, you can easily choose a layout that accommodates them, ensuring an efficient and organized viewing experience.
Cameras
To load cameras into the main viewing area, you can either click to select them or drag and drop them into your preferred window.

Grids (Coming Soon)
Grids will allow you to create user-defined layouts of specific cameras for faster, easier viewing. This feature lets you organize your preferred camera views into custom arrangements that can be quickly accessed when needed.
Plans
Plans are uploaded into the system by an administrator, with cameras accurately plotted onto each plan. This feature allows you to clearly visualize camera locations and easily determine which camera to select during incident management.
Selecting a plan from the list replaces the map in the top section of the Home page. From there, you can select cameras directly from the plan to load them into the main viewing area.

Video Controls
At the bottom of the page, you’ll find icons for controlling video playback. When viewing live footage, a Live lozenge appears in the center. When viewing archived footage, the time of the recorded video is displayed instead.
You can pause playback, jump back a quarter of the timeline, or return to the beginning of the current timeline section.
There are two icons that control Cross-Camera Navigation on the video screen. Clicking this icon hides all navigators for every camera currently playing in the grid. The Volume control allows you to mute all camera streams, if your cameras have audio enabled.
The icons on the far left of the bottom section let you adjust the layout of the video controls. Clicking the single chevron expands the section over the video area, while the double chevrons allow you to drag the section upward to a customizable size. This reduces the video display area but keeps the footage visible during investigations. The Expand icon opens the bottom section in full-screen mode.
The bottom section also includes several tabs that let you navigate through recorded footage quickly. Full guides for each tab can be found below:
