Cameras can use the organization’s default recording schedule, or you can set a custom schedule for each camera. To configure a camera’s recording schedule, navigate to Administration > Camera, then select the desired camera.
In the right-hand pane, with the yellow tab still set to Camera, scroll down to locate the Recording Schedule section.
There are two options: Use Organization Defaults and Set Custom Times.
Use Organization Defaults
Use this option to set the camera to follow the organization’s default recording schedule. This schedule can be configured in Administration > Organization.
Each new camera registered to the organization will automatically have its recording schedule set to the organization’s default schedule.
Note: Editing the Organization Default Recording Schedule does not update any existing cameras’ recording schedules. Changes only apply to new cameras added to the organization.
Set Custom Times
Each camera can have one or more custom recording schedules. To set custom times for a camera, select the Set Custom Times radio button.
Each schedule can be configured to run every day, every weekday, or on specific days. Recording times can be set by the minute and hour, and you can define multiple recording periods if needed.
Example:
The schedule below sets the camera to record from 08:00–16:00 Monday to Friday, all day Saturday, and 13:00–17:00 on Sunday.
Once you’ve set the custom times, click Save.
Note: The camera must be online for the schedule to be applied. If the camera is offline when the change is made, it will update its recording schedule the next time it connects to the cloud.
