The Security Settings can be found under Administration > Organization.
Security Settings
The Security Settings section allows administrators to manage the authentication methods used by all users in the organization. Two main security options are available:
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) – Adds an extra layer of security by requiring both a password and a verification code.
Single Sign-On (SSO) – Allows users to log in using their existing Microsoft or Google accounts.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Enhances login security by requiring users to enter a verification code sent to their email each time they log in.
To Enable 2FA
Go to the Security Settings section.
Check the box labeled “Require two-factor authentication.”
Click Save to activate.
Users will receive an email with an access code each time they log in.
Note: If Single Sign-On (SSO) is later enabled, 2FA will automatically be disabled since authentication will be managed by the SSO provider.
Single Sign-On (SSO)
Allows users to log in using their Microsoft or Google credentials, streamlining authentication and reducing the need for separate password management.
When SSO is enabled:
All users in your organization’s domain must log in using Microsoft or Google credentials.
Passwords previously used for Oncam access are removed.
Other organizations sharing the same domain will also be required to use SSO.
If SSO is not enabled, users can continue logging in with their Oncam credentials while optionally using SSO if available.
